The Summit is located in Oconee County, South Carolina, known as the "Golden Corner" of the state. We are a community situated on Lake Keowee; a sparkling, pristine body of water 800 feet above mean sea level. Lake Keowee has 325 miles of shoreline bordering over 18,000 acres of water, with protections in place to ensure the area retains it's balance of perpetual natural beauty and lakeside living. The nearby Cumberland Mountain range provides breath-taking views to the north and is abound with waterfalls and hiking trails providing a multitude of opportunities for exploration and outdoor recreation. We are conveniently located with Atlanta, GA approximately 2.5 hours to the west; Ashville, NC approximately 1.5 hours to the north; Greenville, SC approximately 50 minutes to the east; and Columbia, SC approximately 2.5 hours south.
Our mid-size community is located on the south end of Lake Keowee, coveted for beautiful mountain vistas. We have 60-plus detached homes and on 115 lots. Approximately half of the detached homes are on lakefront lots. Community boat slips and a boat trailer parking area serve owners of homes on interior lots. Our amenties include a clubhouse, swimming pool, and tennis court.
